Hi, Can you identify this plant. It looks like a ground cover. We found this at the edge of our woods today 1/4/2020. Is it invasive?

    Looking again at these leaves, I’m wondering perhaps a garden escaped candytuft (Iberis sempervirens)? Again until its flowers this is only a suggestion from one of the “few ideas”.
