I’m not sure if this is a shrub that has been neglected or a tree. It is about 15 feet tall. This plant is at a house we have owned for 8 years and I’ve never seen it bloom before this year. I’ve checked all my books, tried on-line and asked friends but I’m stumped. Since I’ve never seen it bloom I don’t know if there is a fruit that follows the flower. It has a main trunk with 3 smaller trunks coming from the base. I’d like to either move all or part of it so any info would be helpful.

Looks like a shaded-out Trumpet Vine; I can’t kill mine for anything! Runners take off under the ground and snap off when you look at ‘em crooked. I call mine very invasive and to be avoided at all costs. Positives: hummingbirds love the flower.

Thank you but I know it is not a trumpet vine. My picture is not the greatest. It is a tree though and the flowers are much smaller than trumpet vine flowers. I’ll try and get a better pic.

Well after much searching a man at the local garden center identified this as a pomegranate tree. Not the shrub. Mystery solved!
