Walking iris?

Strappy evergreen 2′ sword-like foliage, grows in almost full shade under cedars. Pale blue blooms similar to Dutch iris in mid-April. Spreads readily with white running roots under mulch. Given to me as “walking iris” but doesn’t look at all like what I find online. Beautiful but invasive. (ignore pink azalea in picture). What is it & Latin name. Thanks!

    I believe it’s the Japanese roof iris, iris tectorum. i think this is considered the “white” form because the plant is naturally violet colored. It supposedly has been known to grow in old thatched roofs..
