Monkey Grass – Freshening Growth
Q: Can you give me a little info on my freshly transplanted monkey grass? Can I cut it down with scissors to spur fresh growth and get it to fill in?
A: At this point in the liriope’s young life it needs all the leaf surface it can get. Cutting with scissors won’t help it spread. Fertilize once every six weeks with liquid plant food and it will spread as fast as it can.
