Sapsucker – Repellents

Q: Is there anything that will repel yellow-bellied sapsucker woodpeckers from pecking holes in my pecan?
A: There may be something…but it hasn’t been found yet.
Researchers at the Bartlett Tree Research Lab tried three bitter tasting compounds and none of them worked.
