Gazebo – Greenhouse
Q: I am planning to enclose my portable, aluminum gazebo with 6 mil. plastic and convert it into a greenhouse for the winter. I’ll keep it on my deck, so heat from the house will help keep it warm. Will this work?
A: Even with the house nearby, you’ll have a hard time keeping the greenhouse warm enough for plants in winter. A single thickness of plastic sheet loses too much heat. You’ll need several electric heaters.
