Notes:
I picked this up recently in CT. Because of the yellow tint, I thought it might be a lemonhill shimpaku juniper or a lemon hinoki cypress. I was informed I was incorrect and now need to identify it to care for it in FL.

I am not an expert in conifer species. But yours looks like a type of Chamaecyparis obtusa, hinoki cypress. You might want to check out its cultivars. Some of these are : Chamaecyparis obtusa ‘Goldilocks’ Chamaecyparis obtusa ‘Tetragona Aurea’ Chamaecyparis obtusa ‘Verdoni’ Chamaecyparis obtusa ‘Gracilis Aurea’ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chamaecyparis_obtusa
