Notes:

Found this iridescent blue bug with lobster like claws when we felled trees in our backyard. I have searched hi and low looking to see what it is, it seems to only have six legs and doesn’t qualify as a spider, looked to see if it was a beetle and still nothing close. Was living in a shaded wooded area of our yard. didn’t kill it, we just left it on its log and put it gently to the side.

    This might be a nymph of the leaf-footed bug (Acanthocephala terminalis).
