Notes:
These three pics are of the same flower taken over the last month. I have never seen a coneflower that has an odd growth on its “cone”. Is this something that I should be concerned about? Should I remove the plant so this issue doesn’t spread to my other coneflowers? Thank you for any input. (I’m actually interested to see the end result, but will remove the plant if needed.)
