Notes:
This weed has an almost white stem. If I look at patches of grass, they are white/light grey. And it is everywhere. And it doesn’t cut well because these “stems” don’t stick straight up. They grow to the side and then up, sort of like a “U.”

Too bad we can’t see the rest of the plant to tell more. To my eyes maybe a species in the Gamochaeta genus (a type of cudweed/everlasting)? This might be the purple cudweed (G. purpurea)?
