I found many of these flowers on the ground at 8 am in a national Park. There were only the tops, no leaves or stems, and many blooms had been pulled apart possibly by deer over night. They almost look like florist-type flowers to me- which is ok too- I’d just like to know. They are a pale yellow with an orange line going through. The filaments and style are pale yellow, the style looks very much like a mini corn on the cob.
