Without its cones to help with the ID. I’m guessing for now, maybe a species in the hemlock ( Tsuga )? Copy & paste the included link below for both species, the Eastern hemlock (T. canadensis) and Carolina hemlock ( T. caroliniana ) and see if you have a match. Best wishes!
