Just saw this clustered on a leaf of a on “wondering jew” plant. Looked it up and I believe it is a glossy shield bug. I threw it out as it was on my back porch and close to my window. Afterwards… I wondered I did the right thing… and should have left it alone. What is this the glossy shield bug. Reading up on this it looks like it eats caterpillars… is this correct. Thanks.
