I live in Indiana, Zone 5. This plant is coming up in my flower beds. Is it a sappling? Perennial? Weed?

I compared the Paulownia leaves to my mystery sapling and something is not quite right. I have several “Rose of Sharon” and other Hibiscus on my property and it is not in that family. I did receive a comment that it could be a Hazel bush and that is highly possible. I’ve taken two additional pictures with a ruler in place. On the second image please note the growth on the stem and compare to the Hazel images on the following website. https://clctreeservices.files.wordpress.com/2012/02/hazel-corylus-avellana-a-perfect-eco-gift.jpg I will have to start a new post to add images. Thank you all for your patience!

Not Paulownia. Somewhat resembles http://www.walterreeves.com/name-that-plant/tall-weed-w-hibiscus-looking-flower/, but leaf shape doesn’t quite match. Also, in another direction entirely, somewhat resembles goosefoot, but leaf seems too serrated for that. Possibly also a sapling of a number of different trees. Maybe one of the site experts will nail it.

I don’t have a reference for the leaf size, but the upper picture looks a lot like a Paulownia.
