Notes:
Perennial. Smells and tastes like oregano. Opposite leaves. Growing in shady area. Last year grew to 18- 24 inches tall. If it flowered, they were not memorable…maybe small and white. Leaves grow from stem only does not branch out. Herb not woody plant. Could be an Herb planted intentionally or a weed. Roots grow in sort of a loose mass underground. Spreads by underground roots. Dark green/purplish when emerged but now brighter green.
