Notes:
I was in Key West a couple of years ago. I think I found the seeds underneath a bush with red flowers. Not sure. Started growing them the following year and this is what I got. What do I have?

Do the flowers look like these on the Pavonia strictiflora/Goethea strictiflora bush? http://san-yu.org/flora2/greenhouse2/sun2/goethea-strictiflora2.html

With out its flowers it will be difficult to tell at this early stage. We will need more details to help narrow down its ID for you. Can you tell us more about the flowers petals shape, flower’s shape single, cluster, spike, hanging down, etc… Also of the seeds size & shape. These two plants look very robust, hopefully they bloom in the near future. But it’s hard to tell with out knowing more of it’s genus, for some plants growing from seed could take a while to bloom. Mean while we’ll keep searching for it’s ID. Best wishes!
