Notes:

This plant appeared in my backyard and appears to be pretty invasive. It already stands about 6 foot tall.

    Not able to see the lay out of your garden bed where this plant is growing. I can only speculate this could be a rose plant with symptoms of the Rose rosette virus (Emaravirus, RRV). The plant’s distorted appearance seems to match some of the symptoms include excessive lateral shoot growth, thicken, succulent stems etc…Check out link below for more information.
