Notes:
This just started to grow in our planter in St. Augustine, FL. It has a lot of “hairs” all over the trunk, which is very woody. Fine soft green needles with a red branch. Long, curling branches, very soft.

No, I think it maybe in the sunflower family (Asteraceae) (?). Check out these species in the Eupatium genus and see if you have a match. The first is for dog fennel ( Eupatium capillifolium).
