I saw this plant in southern Utah and I was very interested in growing it on the rock. If so, can you tell me its name? Is it Tragopogon dubius? Thank you.

    Link to Trapgopogon dubius. I can’t see the leaves veins from clear enough to to tell. You can compare these images of leaves from the link below to yours. Also notice this, T. dubius leaves are clasping the stem, to my eyes yours appear to have petioles (?). Again I’m only guessing and still could be wrong, without flowers it’s hard to tell for certain. Best wishes!

    It’s hard to see the plant’s botanical details with the sun light is directly on top. I’m wondering if this might be a species in the milkweed (Asclepias) (?).
