Notes:
I live in San Diego county, 1 mi from the beach, and this vine is growing into my yard from my neighbor’s. It’s behind his shed in a shaded area of his yard not used, so it’s likely wild. The vine is not woody like poison ivy would be, but I’d rather be safe than sorry. I bought the house a couple of years ago, and I don’t remember it being there last year. I lived in the Appalachian mountains for a few years, and got to know what poison ivy looks like, but maybe it’s different on the West coast

I agree with the person that answered your post at UBC botanical garden forum. grape ivy http://www.nrm.qld.gov.au/waterwise/plantselector/details.php?plant_id=1212 Not a toxicodendron… You might want to search Toxicodendron diversilobum to see what western poison oak looks like.
