I agree it is a duranta tree. I love them. We grow them at he nursery where I work. Here in Georgia I have one potted that I take in every winter. Beautiful little tree.

This looks a lot like a native small tree that we see a lot around here in North Georgia called a chase tree. Wonderful tree, very lucky if it is.

It is Duranta also know as golden dew drop plant. There are many cultivars variegated leaves, gold leaves, variegated flowers (dark skies), white flowers. 6-12′ tall, train as a full sun, small flowering tree. Birds do not seem to eat the berries and they do not reseed.
