Notes:
I cut this tree down a year ago. Volunteers have been popping up since the spring along the root line and around the stump. I cut them off and within a day new shoots are coming up. It is a fast growing plant with a hollow channel or tube in the trunk as well as every limb and branch. The leaves are wide with serrated edges. I’d like to know the species but i would really like to kill the dang thing so that volunteers stop coming up!
