Notes:
About three years ago I found two of these things in my zoysia and thought it was a mushroom. The don’t grow tall (about level with the grass) but they get about 5″ in diameter. The ones I thought I removed kept the grass from growing back for a long time. Just today (12/28) I noticed that side of the yard has about 12 of them. Would love to know what they are, how to best treat for them and if they are dangerous for dogs.
