laura735 Master Identifier says:
It looks like a cultivar in the evergreen dogwood group. Sorry, I don’t know the exact ID of this beauty, but with the shapes of its leaves, flowers bracts, and the later blooming time, I’m wondering if this could be some thing in the Evergreen dogwood/Himalayan dogwood (Cornus capitata) or the Cornus hongkongensis. The leaves are curve & leathery looking as those in the Evergreen dogwood group. Although the flowers bract are narrower than those of C. capitata & C. honkongensis, I’m not an expert in the Cornus genus and don’t know if this is a subspecies or a hybrid (I’m speculating only, it probably a hybrid). Check out images of the C. capitata species from the link below, click on photos to enlarge. Best wishes! http://berkeleybutterflyblog.blogspot.com/2010/07/cornus-capitata-evergreen-dogwood.html
