Notes:

these are growing just one place in our yard. there are quite a few clusters of them and the leaves are BIG. the smaller leaves have almost a reddish hue to them, but it disappears once the are grown. to me it looks similar to lettuce (though i’m sure it’s not!) the stalks are thick and they are tall plants growing in mostly sunny area (i’d say 6+ hours a day)

    When you say tall, how tall? Could be a variety of sundrop (Evening Primrose) but the leaves don’t quite look right to me…
