Notes:
On a back nature trail in coastal Georgia. the leaves don’t all match, about 1″ to 1 1/2″ size in a shaded area in sandy moist soil. Can’t find it in any book. Any ideas?

Partridge pea or Chamaecrista fasciculata, formerly Cassia. Great for deer and other wildlife but is considered dangerous for cattle to eat.
