A weed that has taken over my lawn. Turns it white. Appears to have runners spreading very fast.

Maybe a type of cudweed? Wish we could see more details of the plant. For now copy & paste the included link below for a species in the genus of Gamochaeta- the Pensylvania cudweed (G. pensylvanica) and see if you have a match. If it isn’t a match, please resubmit with photos of the whole plant where it is growing, closeup of its base & the root system. Thank you & best wishes!
