I ordered a pandan shoot but the one I identified as the pandan shoot was dead. The seller included a bulb and when I planted it this is what has been growing. I wonder if it is edible as the pandan

The leaves of pandan (Pandanus amaryllifolius) when bruised would release an aromatic scent. Also the leaves tips are spiny. Although the top & middle photos are too blurry, the bottom photo to my eyes the leaves are not pandan. It’s difficult to tell without flowers. When it blooms and you still don’t know please resubmit with flowers photo. For now I’m taking a wild guess, perhaps an ornamental plant called ‘tuberose’ (Agave amica syn. Polianthes tuberosa)? Flowers are needed to confirm or rule out this suggested ID. Check out tuberose flowers & leaves from the included link below.
