This is a terrible picture, but the leaves are from my friend’s pecan tree. The leaves have very small circular galls on the leaves and larger galls on the stems, even on the tassels, smaller than marbles. Neighbors on either side have the same thing. She has had in previous years, but this year is very bad. Will these harm the tree? Is it too late to treat this year? She does’t mind if systemic is necessary, it is more important to save her only shade tree, rather than the pecans. Thanks.
