Notes:

My hibiscus has had beautiful blooms all summer long. One morning, I was looking at all of my plants in the yard and the hibiscus flowers were beautiful as usual, then less than an hour later, I passed by and noticed that the petals on 1 bloom had a lot of light blueish spots on it. I kept my eye on it, and about another 3 hours later saw this.

Wish I could see other details of the plant (twigs, underside of leaves, main trunk, etc…). Sick plants can affect flowers appearance, but yours appear lookingg healthy. Regrettably I can’t tell what causes the discoloring on this tropical (?) hibiscus bloom. If the condition persists on future blooms, I suggest you try the experts from the America Hibiscus Society. The yearly member ship is $25.00. Best wishes!
