I have searched EVERYWHERE online and can’t figure out what this is, the closest thing I found was a Mexican Petunia, but it’s not the same – the leaves and flowers are both different. The leaves on mine separate into 5 tips, and the flowers have multiple petals (Mexican petunia clearly only has 5 petals). The plant I found was also about 7 feet tall! I live in Canada, but I’m sure this plant is popular in other places as well! I hope someone can help me

Maybe species of Solanum genus. I am guessing here only, this is either Solanum aviculare (Kangaroo Apple) or Solanum laciniatum (Large Kangaroo Apple). S. aviculare has purple flowers and red fruits. S. laciniatum has orange fruits, flowers are blueish to purple colors.
