Notes:
My MotherÕs passed years back. For years, have garaged in winter. What is this plant? Can I plant in yard? Do I prune and if so – how? ItÕs too big and heavy for me to continue moving in and out. Living in Bowdon , Ga. thanks for your help

I have grown Plumeria for almost 20 years and I am NE of Atlanta. You can prune this (be prepared for the sap to flow until the wound heals) You can also root the cuttings. I have given away more plumeria babies over the years then I can count! I notice that the new plant typically doesn’t bloom until the 2nd year of growth. They are a hassle to bring in every winter especially since they grow pretty large and straggly! But their blossoms are worth the trouble!!

Check out the flowers from varieties of Plumeria in the included link below. When it blooms again please resubmit with photos of flowers. Perhaps we could try to narrow down its cultivar for you. Best wishes! https://wimastergardener.org/article/plumeria/
