Name that plant

This was a gift to a coworker from a retiree. No one can identify it. It seems like a type of succulent, but not sure.

Maybe a species in the Euphorbia decaryi group. I’m guessing it could be Euphorbia capsaintemariensis syn. Euphorbia decaryi var. cap-saintemariensis?
