Notes:

These pellets are on my deck,stairs,patio, furniture and cherry tomato pot. They are all under a river birch that I treat every year with Bayer for sawfly which it had about 5 years ago. I have not seen any bugs except small black ants. These dropping are brown with a lengthwise line and and a couple of lines perpendicular crossing it.

    My mother has these under a huge American Beech tree. I am told they are the droppings from caterpillars. (I have never seen these caterpillars but they must sure be huge!)
