    Peace lily (Spathiphyllum ) does look similar to Chinese evergreen (Aglaonema) since both are in the arum family. According to sources, peace lily doesn’t have trunk or cane while Chinese evergreen is a shrubby type. The specimen in the picture above has numerous visible canes. I’m still leaning toward perhaps the green form of Chinese evergreen (Aglaonema modestum). Best wishes!
