Notes:
Please help identify this shrub growing in Eastbourne the south of England. Growing in a front garden that faces southwards. The leaves are truly silver and have a metallic look. Apologies for poor picture quality! Many thanks in advance Amy.

I think it is Convulvus cneorum. (No common name that I know of. Yes, spelling is correct if you can believe Kew Gardens in 2009, where I first saw the plant!) It’s native to SW and SE Europe.
