Notes:
I came across this blooming tree today in north Georgia. It is growing in an area that has not been developed (no houses nearby). Could it be a wild pear hybrid? I tried to look it up but got confused between wild pears, plums, and cherry trees. Thanks in advance for any help.

Link for wild plum. For future reference, photos of winter twigs, leaf scars & buds can also help in ID woody plants. http://fieldguide.blogs.gainesville.com/778/flowering-now-wild-plums/

I’m not an expert and found these included links below with helpful tips for narrowing down between these flowers. According to sources cherry blossoms have notches/split at the end of the petals. To my eyes these petals appear to have no splits, maybe not cherry(?). Best wishes http://drmgoeswild.com/malus-pyrus-prunus/
