Notes:
The previous owners planted a lot of shrubs and fruit trees, oranges, lemons, olives. Still trying to figure it all out. It’s growing right next to the house so I can’t imagine it’s any kind of tree due to the roots.

The edible olive plant is an evergreen tree with oblong grey green leaves. yours is a deciduous plant. Sorry the leaves details are not clear enough to tell more. Can you resubmit with closeup of the leaves, buds and flowers if there are any. For now I’m wondering if this might be a seedling of crepe myrtle (?). Take a look of the crepe myrtle leaves from the included link below. Again I’m only speculating wildly here. Thank you and best wishes! https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Starr_080716-9502_Lagerstroemia_indica.jpg
