This cement-like growth appeared on my plant. It feels like cement, and looks like hardened soapsuds!

I’m not sure, but check out slime mold species of the Fuligo genus. Some of these include F. septica, F. flava, Fuligo septica var. candida etc…You could try the experts at The Mycological Society of Toronto for its exact ID.
