Notes:
This was growing on the branches of a red cedar bush in our front yard. It has bright orange ‘tentacles’ that come out of circular shaped areas, the body is pithy soft, grayish, soft rubbery kind of, reminds me of those toy balls with all the flexible plastic spikes. Looks like a zoomed in electron microscope photo of a germ.
