Notes:

This plant is about 4 foot tall, with clusters of purple blossoms, opposite serrate leaves (sessile?), and a pronounced square stem.

    That sure does look like it. I think you’re right. Thanks! I’ll have to post the shorter Verbena I’ve found to see if you can figure out the genus. It’s got the prettiest purple blossoms…
