The first picture is a plant that looks similar to lambs ear, but I donÕt believe it is. The second picture is a small evergreen shrub I saw at the mall.

    Maybe something in the plum yew group (Cephalotaxus). Check out the Japanese plum yew (C. harringtonia) and see if you have a match. Click on images to enlarge from the included link.

    With out flowers & fruits to help narrow down, I’m guessing for now. 1- Maybe foxglove (?). Perhaps you could give us an update in the spring if you still don’t know. Best wishes!
