Maybe a native Viburnum species. I can’t be for certain and guess perhaps V. rufidulum (Rusty Blackhaw)? Other native Viburnum species in GA included Viburnum nudum var. cassinoides, V. prunifolium, etc… Check it out and see if you have a match.
