Notes:
Although it may not be noticeable in the picture, the leaf has a bit of a white tint to it and the root that runs through the middle is a darker shade of green. It looks like ombre.

It may be a spreader, but it doesn’t climb trees to suffocate other plants and it IS a native. It is easy to rip out if you need to control it, but it looks lovely in the fall and I would not consider it a nuisance.
