Please help me, I was just trimming back an Oleander bush and was tilling the soil up around the base of it and dug up quite a few of these structures.. We have a dog that likes to dig and do no want her getting sick, can you please help me identify them..

Day lilies? Some other bulb? I think I’d worry less about the tubers, and a lot more about the deadly poisonous oleander bushes. Out in San Diego, I think I’d plant jade trees or aloe…. Or…. Desert willow…. Or something else besides oleander.
