This tree is in the natural, wooded area of my Fayette county lot. I did not notice these blooms in the previous 9 springs I’ve been here. I have 2 that are fairly tall – the blooms are high above me; and one that is about 6 feet tall, where I can get my camera close to the blooms. I’m curious what this is; perhaps it’s one that only blooms in certain circumstances.
