Maybe a type of beautyberry (Callicarpa)? Since its location is not available, I can’t narrow down further. Check out one of its species from the include link below, the American Beautyberry (Callicarpa americana). Click on images to enlarge. if this isn’t Callicarpa, make new post with photo of flowers.
