Hi there, just wondering if you could shed some light on these unnamed plants in a new flat I’m moving to? I am taking my cat so would like to make sure they are not poisonous first. Both flower and bud less.

I have had many Peace Lily plants over the years, and none of them ever had leaves like the plant in your picture. I am no expert, but that first plant looks more like one of the many varieties of “Chinese Evergreens” (Aglaonema). I can’t identify the second plant, & quite frankly, my neck is hurting from trying to look at them. Let’s just call them “Wallflowers”.

The first photo (with the plastic bottle) looks like a “peace lily” which is in the Spathiphyllum genus. I have two cats and they typically leave this plant alone.
