Notes:

Hi, I have a fair amount of this unidentified vine growing along the rock walls of my planting beds in southern NH. Looking to find out what it is, and how invasive it can be so that I can make a decision on whether or not to remove it, and (if so) how careful I need to be. Thanks!

Not Virginia Creeper. This Georgia Gardener link shows a pretty good shot of Virginia Creeper: http://www.walterreeves.com/name-that-plant/virginia-creeper-is-the-suspect/

potentilla reptans seems more likely. No thorns, but fairly aggressive.
