Notes:

Hi there, I have these plants pop up every year around my yard. I let one of them grow and it now is a small 10ft. Type of tree. Any ideas on what it might be would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

There are no flowers to tell for certain. I’m guessing, this might be either American persimmon/ common persimmon (Diospyros virginiana) or Asimina parviflora (dwarf pawpaw). If all three have the same leaves then one ID, If they are not then you could have more than one ID. You would be the best judge. If both genera are not matching, make new post when they bloom with flowers photos. Link below is for the dwarf pawpaw. Best wishes! https://www.google.com/search?q=Asimina+parviflora+(dwarf+pawpaw)&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwisnqzf-ObNAhXLPCYKHZdVCh4QiR4IigE&biw=1867&bih=909#imgrc=HRgiRh3rU7twDM%3A
